Our Bookshop at Dartington Crystal
Dartington Crystal have kindly provided a space for us to sell our books in their shop.
As you may know, we have been accepting donations of second-hand books and selling them at the Car Boot sale each Sunday to raise money to support the management of Great Torrington Commons. We also sell these books at other occasional events throughout the year. Having a permanent place to sell our books is fantastic, it helps us raise money from the sale of books all year round.
Andrew, the Vice Chair on the Board of Great Torrington Commons Conservators, has done a great job setting up the bookshop at Dartington Crystal. He continues to manage it and welcomes donations.
Please come along to our bookshop at Dartington Crystal and have a look at our wide range of books priced at £1.00, £2.00 and £3.00. Lots of them are like new.
You can visit the bookshop any time during Dartington Crystal’s opening hours, see here for more info. https://visitdartington.co.uk/contacts/
To purchase a book from the shop, simply pay at the till in the Crystalware shop, where they will be happy to accept your payment.
All the money raised from the sale of these books helps us to pay for things to support the management of Great Torrington Commons.
